Students of Fatunaba Memorial Primary School
The children of the community of Fatunaba, like the vast majority of Timor-Leste’s youngest citizens, do battle daily with the challenges associated with poverty, gender inequality, long distances in the journey from home to school, low levels of parental educational attainment and poor nutrition. The existence of the Dare Memorial Museum and Cafe supports the little children of Fatunaba to improve their educational prospects and success.
